* The space:
Tawny Flat is a two bedroom apartment.
Designed with a mix of retro and modern concepts, it has many amenities. This cozy apartment is fully equipped. It has a balcony overlooking the Church of Santa Marinha and the surrounding neighborhood. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. But, for those who want, there is no lack of activities in the surroundings: visits to cellars and monuments; wine tasting; cable car trips, site seeing bus trips, train trips, river cruises, etc. Beaches 7 kilometers away where you can practice surfing, bodyboarding, kite surfing or simply rest. And much, much more!
* Guest access:
The apartment is on the 2nd floor, accessible by two flights of stairs. Check-in is by keycode/keypad, which replaces the key. This code will be provided after booking and before check-in.
The apartment is for the exclusive use of guests. Visits without authorization from the owner are not allowed.
* Other things to consider:
The building has washing and dryer machines in the laundry on the first floor. Instructions for use and price are listed there.
There are some formalities imposed by the authorities. Among them, filling out the SEF form and paying the Tourist Tax. The city of Gaia has instituted a Tourist Tax of €1 per night per person from 1st October to 31st March and 2€ per night per person from 1st April to 30th September, up to a maximum of seven nights. This rate applies to all tourists over 16 years of age. It must be paid before check-in.
When booking, a security deposit of €150 will be requested. It will be returned after 2 days if there is no damage to the apartment.
