Feel Discovery Passadiços Paiva – Casa da Cavada

Located just 300 meters from the River Paiva and the entrance to the Passadiços do Paiva and also just 9 km from the world’s longest suspended pedestrian bridge – AROUCA 516, in the heart of the typical village of Espiunca, this recently rehabilitated house is part of a large space of more than 3 hectares, placed on a slope with a direct view of the River Paiva and for the whole village.

It is possible, from any point of the property, to enjoy a landscape of a lush green tone, which surrounds the entire valley of the village of Espiunca, and the possibility of hearing the sound of the River Paiva running below.

In addition to the beauty of Casa da Cavada, the property has a large outdoor area, with a wide variety of fruit trees and a wooden deck with a Plunge Pool, a small pool, but with an adequate depth to take a dip or just relax, overlooking the valley!

The rarity of the Giant Trilobites of Canelas (15 min) and the splendor of the Serra da Freita (40 min) that houses the Pedras Parideiras are unique features and mandatory stops in this geopark recognized by UNESCO.

A walk through the Paiva Walkways, crossing the famous Suspension Bridge 516 Arouca, as well as the various Walking Routes, will surely be a must.
